PRIVACY POLICY

Effective July 24, 2026
aflower is a daily meditation and breathing application. This policy explains what information is processed when you use aflower and the choices available to you.
1. Information stored on your device
aflower does not require an in-app account. Your meditation history, saved flowers, journey progress, reminder preferences, onboarding status, and downloaded media cache are stored locally on your device. This information is not uploaded to an aflower user profile.
Deleting the app generally removes this local information. Your subscription purchase remains associated with the Apple App Store or Google Play account used to purchase it and may be restored separately.
2. Subscription information
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. aflower uses RevenueCat to determine whether premium access is active and to support purchase restoration. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, product identifier, purchase and expiration dates, trial status, entitlement status, store, and related transaction information. aflower does not receive your full payment-card details.
3. Content delivery and diagnostics
aflower uses Google Firebase to deliver meditation metadata, images, and audio. Firebase Crashlytics may process app version, operating system, device model, crash traces, diagnostic events, and technical identifiers needed to identify and resolve crashes. Network providers may also process information such as an IP address as part of serving requests.
aflower does not use Firebase Analytics and does not use your meditation activity for advertising or cross-app tracking.
4. Notifications
If you enable a daily reminder, aflower requests notification permission and schedules the reminder on your device. You can change or disable reminders at any time in aflower or in your device settings.
5. Information we do not request
aflower does not request access to your microphone, contacts, precise location, photos, or Health data for its meditation and breathing features. The app is not designed to collect sensitive health diagnoses or medical records.
6. Why information is processed
Information is processed only as reasonably necessary to provide meditation content, remember your on-device experience, manage premium access, restore purchases, deliver reminders you request, maintain security, diagnose failures, and comply with legal obligations.
7. Sharing and service providers
aflower does not sell personal information. Information is shared only with service providers as needed to operate the app, including:
- Apple for App Store purchases;
- Google for Google Play and Firebase services; and
- RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and may process it in countries other than your own.
8. Retention and your choices
Local activity information remains on your device until you reset it in the app or delete the app. Cached media may be removed automatically to manage storage. Subscription and transaction records are retained by the relevant store and RevenueCat according to legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and service requirements. Crash diagnostics are retained according to Firebase’s applicable settings and policies.
You can disable notifications, reset activity history, remove saved items, manage or cancel your subscription through your store settings, and delete the app. Privacy rights may vary by location. You may contact the developer to request assistance regarding information controlled by aflower.
9. Children
aflower is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as aflower changes. The effective date will be revised when material updates are published.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact the developer through aflower Support. Please do not include sensitive medical or payment information in a public issue.
